Place elements in an image with named zones

Draw named boxes on an empty frame or on the image you are editing, then place each element by calling its @name in the prompt.

Released in v1.5.0.

Zones is a new Image sub-mode, in beta. Start from an empty frame, draw up to eight boxes, and give each one a name, a description of what goes there and, if needed, text to render in it. Call a zone by its @name in the prompt to place that element.

FLUX 3.0, the default, and Ideogram 4.5 work from the zones alone, without reference images. Other models, including ChatGPT Image, Seedream and Muse, also work in Zones and can take reference images too.

In Image Edit, you can draw zones over the source image to change or add something in a specific place. FLUX 3.0, ChatGPT Image, Ideogram 4.5, Seedream, Muse, Kling and Luma Uni take named zones. Gemini, Qwen, FLUX.2, Grok and Wan take up to two zones, without names.
