Gallery

Browse, search, filter and organize every asset in your workspace, from generations to the references you upload.

The Gallery holds every asset in your workspace: results from every Create mode, Compose scenes, and the references you upload. Use it to find an asset, sort the good ones from the rest, and organize them into projects and folders.

Find your way around

  • The project sidebar, on the left. With All Projects chosen, it lists your projects. Open one to see All Project Assets, Unsorted (assets in no folder) and its folders. See Projects and folders.
  • Assets and Refs, at the start of the filter bar, switch between your generated assets and your reference library.
  • Stack, near the right, groups similar generations into stacks.
  • The size buttons show thumbnails Small, Medium or Large.

Click an asset to open it in the lightbox. Hover an asset and press Space for a quick look, or P to see its direct parents. The Shared badge marks assets that are in a Share folder.

Type in the search field and press Enter.

  • Keyword search is the default (the KW badge). It looks for your words in prompts and file names.
  • Click the badge to switch to semantic search (AI). It finds assets that match the meaning of your words, even when the prompt used other ones. It needs at least three characters.
  • Type @ in the search field to pick a snippet. The gallery then shows only the assets generated with it.
  • Search Similar, in an asset’s right-click menu or in the lightbox, shows assets that look like it. You can also drag an asset onto the search field.

Filters

The filter bar narrows what the grid shows. Filters combine with each other and with search.

Filter What it shows
Project One project, or All Projects.
Modes Assets from one mode, such as Image Edit or Video.
Providers Assets from one provider.
Status One status, the Selected or Hidden statuses, or All statuses.
Ratio One aspect ratio.
Color Assets close to a color you pick. The Tolerance slider goes from exact matches to broad matches.
Images, videos Only images, or only videos.
Favorites Only the assets you starred.
Trash The assets you deleted. See Trash.

In the bar at the bottom of the gallery, the active filters read as a sentence, for example Assets in all projects matching “forest”. Hover a part and click its × to remove that filter, or use Reset filters to clear them all.

Statuses and favorites

Hover an asset to set its status or star it. You apply four statuses yourself:

  • Good and Maybe for the results worth keeping.
  • Rejected and Archive for the rest. Both are hidden from the grid by default. To see them again, choose Hidden, Rejected or Archive in the Status filter.

Hylope sets one more on its own: Approved marks every asset that belongs to a key asset, unless it is Rejected or Archive.

Hover a card to set its status or star it. The second card is a closed stack of similar generations.

Stacks

With Stack on, results made from the same inputs or prompt are grouped into one card with a count. Click a stack to open it in place; Close stack folds it back. Frames extracted from one video, and the versions of an asset, also show as one card with a count.

Select several assets

Hover a card and click the checkbox in its corner to start a selection. While a selection is open, a click adds or removes an asset and Shift+click selects everything between two assets.

The bar at the bottom then acts on the whole selection: Status, Favorite, Project, Collage, Compare, Shelf, Download and Delete.

  • Collage lays out 2 to 20 images or videos in one frame, as a Smart Mosaic, Masonry or Grid. Download saves the result, and Save Compose saves it as a scene you can keep editing in Compose.
  • Compare shows the selected assets side by side.
  • Shelf adds them to the Shelf, which follows you from app to app.

Right-click a single asset for its other actions, such as Reload, Open in Nodes, Extract layers, Create Key Asset, Create snippet, Set as Folder Poster and Set as Project Poster.

Trash

Delete moves assets to the trash, where you can restore them. Turn on the trash filter to see them, select the ones you want, then choose Restore or Delete forever. Delete all empties the trash. Deleting forever cannot be undone.

Key assets

Key assets are the assets a project is built on: a character, a product, an environment, a start frame. Open a project and choose Selected Assets in the sidebar to see them under Project Key Assets, grouped by folder. A folder shows its own key assets on top.

Create one from an asset’s right-click menu with Create Key Asset, or with the New key asset tile. Each key asset has a category (Visual, Start Frame, End Frame, Shot, Reference, Characters, Environment, Products or Outfit) and works in one of two ways:

  • Versions keep one active asset, named Version 1, 2, 3 and so on.
  • Variants are named options side by side, with none of them active.

Every version and variant gets the Approved status, active or not, and so do the other versions of those assets. One you marked Rejected or Archive keeps that status and stays hidden.

See Versions and lineage for how versions are made and followed.

References

Refs opens the reference library: the images, videos and audio files you uploaded to use as inputs. Click Upload Reference, or drop files on the gallery. Filter the library by type, such as Character, Outfit, Style, Environment, Product, Previz or Audio.
