The Music tab makes songs and instrumentals from a description. There are no inputs to load: the prompt, the Builder and the lyrics carry everything. Music opens on Lyria 3.5.
Make a track
Choose a model
Click the model card at the top of the settings panel. Each model has its own length range, listed in the models table.
Describe the music
Write the genre, the mood, the instruments and what the song is about in the prompt bar.
Add details and lyrics
Click Builder in the prompt bar to add song details and lyrics. See the Music Builder below.
Set the length and generate
Set the length with the duration pill, then click Generate. On Lyria 3.5 and Lyria 3 Pro the length is a Target duration, which the model aims for. MiniMax Music 3.0 has no duration control: it decides the length itself, up to about five minutes.
The Music Builder
The Builder adds blocks to your prompt as short descriptors. Fill only the fields you need.

Vocals sets whether the track should have singing: Vocals Optional, Instrumental Only or Vocals Featured.
Lyrics
Write the words in the Builder’s Lyrics (Optional) field. Leave it empty for an instrumental.
If the lyrics are empty and you click Improve prompt, Hylope can write lyrics for you when your description implies a sung song. They appear as Lyrics (AI Generated) and you can edit them. Lyrics you wrote yourself are never changed, and Instrumental Only turns this off.
Lyrics Language, in the settings panel, sets the language the words are sung in. The list depends on the model.
