Projects & folders

Group your work into projects, sort each project into folders, and set who can see and change each project in a team workspace.

Everything you make belongs to a workspace. Inside it, projects keep separate pieces of work apart, such as one client, one film or one campaign. Folders sort the assets inside a project.

The active project

The Project selector in the header sets the project you are working in. New generations are saved to it.

  • Choose All Projects to see everything in the workspace. What you generate there is not assigned to a project.
  • The menu also has New Project and Manage Projects.

In the Gallery, the sidebar lists your projects with their thumbnails and asset counts. Click a project to open it. The back arrow at the top of the sidebar returns to the list.

Create a project

Click New project… in the Gallery sidebar, type a name and press Enter: the new project opens. You can also create one from New Project in the header selector.

In a team workspace, only the Owner creates projects.

Move assets between projects

  • In the lightbox, the project row shows where the asset is. Click it and pick another project.
  • In the Gallery, select several assets and use Project in the selection bar. Unsorted takes them out of their project.
  • Drag assets onto a project in the Gallery sidebar.

Folders

Folders sort the assets of one project. Open a project in the Gallery sidebar to see them:

Row What it shows
All Project Assets Everything in the project.
Unsorted Assets of the project that are in no folder. It appears once the project has a folder.
New folder… Creates a folder: type a name and press Enter.
Your folders One row per folder, with its thumbnail and asset count.

Drag assets onto a folder to file them. Hover a folder to rename or delete it. Deleting a folder does not delete its assets: they stay in the project.

Your uploaded references have their own folders. Switch the Gallery to references and the sidebar shows All References, Unsorted and the reference folders of the project.

To choose a folder’s thumbnail, right-click an asset in it and choose Set as Folder Poster.

Project settings

Open Manage Projects from the header selector, or click the gear next to the project name in the Gallery sidebar, then select a project.

Setting What it does
Thumbnail Drop an image or click to upload one. You can also right-click any asset and choose Set as Project Poster.
Visibility Hide from All Projects keeps the project’s assets out of the All Projects view. They still show when you open the project. The eye icon on a project in the Gallery sidebar does the same.
Archive Hides the project from project lists, the gallery and search. Archived projects stay listed under Archived in the Projects dialog, where you can unarchive them.
Access In a team workspace, sets what each member can do in this project. See below.
Total Cost The credits used by all generations in this project.
Delete project Removes the project. Its assets are kept, with no project.

Access in team workspaces

In a team workspace, the Owner sets access per project and per member, in Access:

Access What the member can do
Creator Generate in the project and change its content. Project settings stay with the Owner.
Viewer See the project and its assets. Viewer access is read-only: no generating, no changes.
No access The project is hidden from this member.

Members only see the projects they have been added to, so they always work inside a project. All Projects and assets with no project are for the Owner. A member can move assets between projects where they are Creator.
